The Growth Of SalesAs the warmer months approach and as car sales begin to increase with the weather change, it is exciting when those increases promote positive numbers for any car manufacturer.  According to recent reports, 25,435 vehicles were sold by Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac and this accounted for a 6% retail sales.  John Roth, vice president or sales, service and marketing for GM Canada had this to say about the increase:

“Canadian customers continue to recognize the value, performance and technology of Chevrolet’s new vehicle line-up, with total Chevrolet sales up more than 5 per cent for the month of April.  Sales of the Chevrolet Cruze were up over 19 per cent in the same month as The Diesel Driver named the Cruze 2.0L Clean Turbo diesel the Diesel Car of the Year.”

  • Sales of the Chevrolet Equinox, recently named a Top Safety Pick by the IIHS, were up over 23 per cent, and the all-new Silverado were up 5 per cent
  • Sales of the Buick Enclave were up 32 per cent
  • Sales of the GMC Acadia were up over 38 per cent and the all-new 2015 Yukon and Yukon XL combined were up almost 38 per cent
  • Cadillac retail sales were up almost 17 per cent, the 19th consecutive month of sales growth, driven by ATS (up 13 per cent) and SRX (up over 52 per cent)
