Looking to our hopeful and eventual Buick Cars in Canada future, we examine further, the specs and ins and outs regarding a pretty exciting new Buick Cars in China…the Buick Lacrosse Hybrid which we hope will enter the market in both Canada and the United States someday in the near future. “Both the engine displacement and battery-pack size match those of the 2016 Chevy Malibu Hybrid. Buick didn’t list total system output (it’s 182 horsepower in the Malibu Hybrid), but said the Lacrosse Hybrid will do 0 to 62 mph in 8.9 seconds.”
It is also true that the claimed estimated fuel economy is 50 mpg, likely as measured on the Chinese testing cycle, so to be modified to match Canadian units and US standards once the new Buick Cars are seen here. This is still a great fuel estimation in which to look forward to, considering, within the Buick Cars Thunder Bay lineup and also in the U.S., the Malibu Hybrid is rated at 46 mpg combined (47 mpg city, 46 mpg highway). It is suspected that though the Buick Lacrosse is a Thunder Bay car, as well as being for sale in United States, the Buick Lacrosse Hybrid may only be in China. We can hope that this is a temporary state of affairs, however, only time will tell.
With the new Lacrosse and the latest Malibu based on the same underlying architecture, a hybrid version of the Lacrosse was likely a relatively easy model for Buick to add and for reason and with that observation, it is clearly acceptable to speculate, that it would be very simple, also , to add these Buick Cars to Canadian and US dealers show rooms alike. For now, car makers are launching more hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and electric cars in China to let consumers take advantage of generous government incentives, and to meet increasingly tough impending efficiency standards. This we understand, as Buick cars and other automakers rise to the demands of the region. No tags for this post.
