We write for a Buick Dealer in Thunder Bay who sells GMC Trucks and Buick Cars in Canada. Still, we have some topics for discussion that may not directly pertain to Canada and its consumers. We feel the need to pass along pertinent news, even the global stuff, if for no other reason than to inform. The following write-up is regarding the Chevy Volt and Malibu Hybrid in addition to the Buick Lacrosse Hybrid from Thunder Bay.
“General Motors is getting a lot of mileage out of the second-generation 2016 Chevrolet Volt’s plug-in hybrid powertrain. Both the 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid (without a plug) and the 2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In Hybrid feature powertrains based on the newest iteration of the Voltec hardware.” As a result of the above facts, another new Buick Car is on the horizon. GM will be launching its fourth model that appears to be a Chevy Volt based powertrain and will, for now anyway, only be sold in the Chinese market. The Buick Lacrosse Hybrid is the car about which we speak and it made its official debut at the Beijing auto show this year in 2016.
Not too different than another Buick Car we know, the hybrid model is based on the redesigned 2017 Lacrosse that debuted back in November at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The engine is different, of course, as the 3.6 liter V6 gas engine makes way for the Lacrosse Hybrid Buick Car 1.8 liter four cylinder with 1.5 kw lithium ion battery pack as the Buick Cars hybrid add on. Your Dominion Motors Buick Car Dealership in Thunder Bay, along with many Buick Car Dealers in the United States hope to eventually get a piece of this new Buick Car too as everyone expects the sale would soar.
