Many of us are traveling great distances this holiday season.  Today my family is coming in from Duluth to celebrate with us at my grandma’s house.  My cousin recent newlywed and in my opinion in the running for husband of the year, just purchased his wife a new car for Christmas. He told us she was very specific on what kind of car she wanted.  She wanted a small crossover, but one with all the bells a whistles.  The car they chose was the Buick Encore.

After much searching a test driving, my cousin chose the Encore because it is a luxury SUV without the giant size.  He drives a full size truck and they wanted something that got great fuel economy but was also easy to park down town in the city.  The interior is filled with premium materials like optional leather seats, wood trim, and heated steering.  The steering wheel also controls Intellilink which is a hands free system that controls your smartphone, Pandora, and SiriusXM.  It can also control your available navigation system too.  So now you can drive safely without having to take your eyes off the road.

The exterior is surrounded by chrome accents and available 18 inch chrome wheels with aluminum standard. The engineers designed the exterior to be both stylish and more efficient.  The average fuel efficiency is 25 city and 33 highway mpg.  Making this one of the most fuel efficient crossovers on the market.  The power behind this little crossover is a 1.4 liter Ecotec 138-hp turbocharged engine with variable valve timing. All wheel drive is also available which is great for this time of year.

So maybe your significant other didn’t get you a new car for Christmas, there is still the New Year.  Go see your local Ontario Buick Cars dealer and have yourself a merry little Christmas.
