shutterstock_164567609My grandparents bought their first Buick Lacrosse a couple years ago.  Even with its clean lines and sleek styling, in my head it was still an old person’s car. That was till I drove it.  Then I understood why my husband always offered to drive my grandparents places in their own car. Yes I thought he was being strange. Why would someone want to drive a boring sedan? Once I drove it I understood that this clearly was no boring sedan.  This was a luxury machine with pick up.

The new 2014 Lacrosse is out and impressing the car critics with its premium style and fantastic features.  The Lacrosse comes standard with a 2.4L engine or available more powerful 3.6L V6 engine with variable valve timing. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is also available with an electronic limited slip differential for added traction in the snow or other unfriendly driving surfaces. These features are great for those of us driving Buick cars in Ontario.

Standard luxury shows on the exterior with LED tail lights with chrome accents and LED head lights with available HID. The smooth graceful lines of the Lacrosse not only look great but provide aerodynamics that increase fuel efficiency.  The 4 cylinder engine averages 25 city and 36 hwy mpg while the V6 averages slightly less at 18 city and 28 hwy mpg.

The interior features comfortable seats with lots of leg room for both the front and rear passengers.  Premium materials fill the interior including available oversized sunroof, real wood trim, and leather seating.  Quiet Tuning blocks out outside noises and keeps in the awesome sound Bose sound system available with an 11 speaker 5.1 surround sound and rear seat DVD system. Intellelink is also a standard feature that allows you to use Pandora and SiriusXM.  So come on and check out this “grandma” car. I think you may be in for a big surprise.
